Woodlands The majority of the Drenagh woodlands date back to the Plantation of Ulster when Oak,
Beech, Yew, Cherry and Sweet Chestnut were planted. There are individual specimen trees
which pre-date these and a fine stand of Oak planted around 1900 registered as a seed source.
Young trees from seed collected on the estate are grown on in our tree nursery. Both these
and the seed are available to purchase, please contact the Estate Office. The
